Analysis can't decide between Ne5 and b4?

As GM Ginger (Simon Williams) always says, computers have their limitations. But what do you guys think about this position...is Ne5 best or an inaccuracy? Haha! I'm so confused. Please help - damn midgames. Why is Ne5 an inaccuracy?

I'm not too fussed about b4...good/best is no different to me when I'm blundering everywhere haha.

It depends on the depth of calculation and the engine version and settings.

I checked this position as far as 29 moves deep. As the depth increases, the analysis bounces back and forth between preferring each move. We have to conclude that the two moves are equal and that Ne5 isn't actually an inaccuracy. Theoretically, you should feel confident playing either move and with best play from either side, you should expect a draw. Practically, you should choose the move that you think presents the greatest challenge to your opponent.
