Sorry buddy but the guy who wrote that blog is a moron. He proves it repeatedly in the article where he claims to expose lies about the kickboxing record.

First of all, K1 he refers to is a promotions organization that doesn't even make the top 10. It's current incarnation isn't even related to the one he talks about (Enfusion does though, top 3 or 4) K1 went defunct in 2011, then that brand name got purchased by "It's Showtime" ( notice Tate fighting that promotion in the same era) ,and eventually bought by Glory (under "It's showtime"), current largest and most prestigious promotion in the world which also had ISKA as it's sanctioning body until very recently.
K-1 is a ruleset used by several sanctioning bodies. Such as WKA, IKF, ISKA
Throughout his career Tate was in fact fighting in the top few largest kickboxing organizations against the world's premier fighters and earned titles from among the oldest and largest sanctioning bodies.
He won the Enfusion world title from Wendell Roche look him up, he finaled and semifinaled in K1 a few years earlier when it was big.
Several guys he went against are currently signed with Glory.

Let’s be real, imagine being the son of a guy who was one of the best players of his era. Add to that the fact he was a strict father that tried to impose heavy goals on his kids.
How is that not a realistic scenario for a kid to be state chess champion at a young age?
I mean, to say “everybody can be champion, because in every tournament there is always a winner” sounds like it’s a matter of luck, which is definitely not the case for chess.

From that I have read about him, Tate faked much of his career. He faked being a world champion kick boxer (he claims but there seems to be no evidence of it)
Even if he is good at chess or plays chess, we don't have much proof to tell whether he can beat Magnus carlsen or not
Just because you consider someone "Top g"/a rolemodel (i cringe everytime i hear the word top g. i want to puke when i hear someone say it), that doesn't make them incredibly skilled in every field
Since you asked "i really want to know if this is even true"- we really don't know. from what i've seen there is no evidence of him being a chess champion. Cannot confirm if he is good at chess or not, but it does seem like his father used to be a grandmaster.
To all your other questions, I have no answer, it seems like you'll have to ask him himself.

i think it may be a little off topic to discuss his internet personality, but since people are already doing it, i'll give my thoughts (i'll not go too much in depth because that would be a really really long debate)
he claims many things that cannot be confirmed at all. like his kickbozing world champion rank. he also claims he doesn't need to read as he has all the knowledge required....you can search it up onyoutube - "Tate on reading"
so obviously any logical and rational person will understand that is internet personality is purposely exaggerated and irrational in order to stir up controversy and gain more exposure. even if he beliefs half of what he says, a lot of his claims cannot be confirmed, and i think someone mentioned he speaks with a lot of confidence that makes his thoughts believable?

I would suggest do your own research. It's a blog, its the opinions of someone who did their research on the person. If you want unbiased information and don't trust the anonymous source, then do your research and falsify everything
