Any career, hobby or personality attribute predominant among skilled players?

I'm just wondering if we find that most of the stronger chess players tend to gravitate toward certain careers, hobbies or have certain personality traits, and if so, what are those careers, hobbies and/or traits?  And do good players tend to have a sense of humor, or are they more ROBOT like in their personalities?

Are stronger chess players usually witty, non-chalant, or control freaks, or egomaniacs, detail oriented or broadminded?

And I wonder if, fine tuning that further, different rating classes see different types predominating in a distinct pattern.

strong chess players usually have a part-time career as pornostars.

Or they are on the staff.

Not that I know of.  I read somewhere in another thread most GM's have a slightly higher IQ then the average but that's about it.  As for strong players it seems to be they are just normal people with normal lives who devote a bit more time then us into chess.

But then again, who knows.  I don't moonlight on the side as a pornstar and maybe that's whats holding my chess performance back eh?

Yes. You'd get used to put your rook in the open files.
