Anyone know any good free chess books I can download?

Anything other than public domain books posted here won't be allowed. Anything public domain is less likely to have the best lines/analysis.
I know, only stuff that is legal will be allowed. And i guess your right about the public domain info not being the best

thank you guys, and trump dont you have a wall to be building? Or did you hire undocumented mexican immigrants to build that for you too? just like your hotels XD

In many countries copyright expires 70 years after the author's death. There are some fine chess books older than that. Of course the analysis won't be engine-approved, but being sceptical is usually a good idea anyway. The main drawback I see is the cumbersome English descriptive notation, but you may get used to that.
Here are five that I think are still well worth reading, from Project Gutenberg:
Capablanca, Chess Fundamentals
Staunton, The Blue Book of Chess
Bird, Chess History and Reminiscences

Phase 2 from Richard James
