I don't know SCID, but I do know that WinBoard would understand almost anything that even remotely looks like a Chess game (no matter how much garbage text there is between the moves), when you simply copy-paste it to WinBoard (typing Ctrl-V or using the Paste Game menu item). You can then save it as PGN (possibly after editing the tags to supply the player name and such). After you saved it as PGN on a file any chess software should understand it.
Of course you can annotate the game with engine scores and PVs in WinBoard itself too.
I want to transcribe live OTB games so I can analyze the PGN in tools like SCID. It is a joke that chess.com's otherwise amazing app doesn't have such an obvious feature.
I installed SCID on the Go for Android. No idea how to enter games on this thing. I made a new DB, and then did new game But, I can not enter any new moves.
Any idea how I can notate OTB games easily without PENCIL and PAPER?
