Anyone know what ELO ratings correspond to which levels on the computer here?

Thank you. Are we sure that list is accurate?
I'm not seeing it anywhere in that thread, and what's with all the people in the thread saying they've beat level 10 or drawn it? Are they secret grandmasters?

There is a definite discrepancy between the strength of levels 1-10 on the mobile phone app, and levels 1-10 on the actual website.
There is also the notion that the computer playing strengths are relative, since the computing is done on each individual's local computer, which would explain why the mobile version is typically weaker than the desktop. For me, Level 6 on the app is about Level 4 on my computer.
Hmm, interesting. Well that definitely muddies the waters.
Do you know if there are any free computer apps that have "opponents"/levels with specific ELO ratings? It seems I remember Chessmaster back in the day having the computer opponents broken down exactly like that, so I guess I'm looking for something along those lines.

Here's an earlier thread where those ratings came from, but I don't know if those values are from an authoritative source:

Cool, thanks.
I played the computer on L3 last night. Not sure that felt like an 800 rated player to me, but maybe I'm underrating 800 rated players.

Yes level 3 and 4 and 5 are very weak;even level 5 can do 3 blunder in a row...by not taking back....
level 3 is worst it can blunder 6 -7 times in a game.

Title says it all.
I've been playing against the computer a bit here. There are 10 levels. Does anyone know, approximately, what ELO rating each level corresponds to?
For instance, is Level 4 maybe around a 1400? Perhaps level 10 is something like a 2700?
Etc.
