April's Generation X Bots

You can really tell this month's bots are brought to you by Gen X. The Gen A (because we don't know what to call them yet) and the Martin bots are pretty cute, but that's the last positive thing I can about this month's bots. Otherwise, 'Gen Y' is just Gen X's name for Millennials. What comes after 'X'? Well, 'Y', I guess. The term 'Gen Y' has no significance for Millennials themselves. That's why Millennials call themselves Millennials. They came of age around the turn of the millennium. As a Millennial, I really dislike the 'Y' designation and the Gen X centric connotations associated with it. The alphabetic generational naming system really isn't cool anymore, Gen Xers; get over it. And hey, well you're at it, throw some shade on Boomers, too. Seriously, in this leftist age of inclusivity, you'd think Chess.com could have been less tone deaf. I think I'll skip playing this month's bots until Chess.com can come up with something better.

Those in Gen X didn't give themselves that moniker. Like all the others, it was created and disseminated by others and eventually was what most refer to as a grouping mechanism.

I never knew I was gen y until today. Are the boards meant to change colour? The gen y bot turned red, and now the Isla bot is purple. Both very bright it's a struggle to look at the screen.

Bots can have their own boards and pieces, so it's by design.

Oh ok. I actually thought I was getting April fool punished for a stalemate. Board was green before that.

Is someone upset about ageism, bobby? The Boomers got more shade than anyone. That's what I said. Clearly, you misplaced your readers.
