Are non premium members allowed to pause turn based games for vacation?

I tried & it gave me a message in red about a premium membership b as though it won't allow it. But I have vacation time, a month & I want to use some of it.
I thought I was able to but when I tried to set my games to pause for vacation it didn't allow it, saying something about a premium membership.
