Arena Titles

The titles that Chess.com recognises are listed in https://support.chess.com/article/661-does-chesscom-offer-benefits-for-elite-or-titled-players

they should, there are FIDE oficial.

The site only recognizes OTB titles, not online. It isn't about being FIDE recognized.

You will agree with me that it is curious that an online platform does not take into account the online titles . That are also federation oficials.... it will be because they are direct competition?? 🤔🤔

My personal opinion is that OTB are more prestigious, offering recognition of OTB titles draws in non-titled players, and OTB titles are more trusted.

Well chess.com is an online chess site. Why would they acknowledge another online (chess arena of fide) site's titles. It's competition.

man, very bad that CHESS.COM has no online fide tournaments.
Chess.com can't unless FIDE allows it.

Arena titles are useless for me that is only design to your name in OTB tournaments, but thats not official chess titled. That is only a secondary titled given by FIDE to you and recognized by FIDE that you can used in OTB in front of your name that ACM, AFM, AIM, AGM. You are a grand master but Arena because you earned it into online arena and not in OTB personal played.
If a FIDE Title is not oficail, tell me, what is oficial ;-) I can agree with you that may be for you and for me is a useless title, but this is just a personal opinion, I think that if it is a Oficial title, you can find it on the fide player resume, chess.con should recognize it.

The site doesn't have to recognize any titles but does recognize OTB ones because having OTB titled players here is good for the site to draw other players.

Agree

But you forget that all titles given by FIDE are official titles.

I believe above 2000 for 150 games on the fide website @17. So probably you could get it if you paid.

i tell how strong.
I have read the ELO of the Arena Grandmasters who play both online and presently and the most part of them are above 2000 over the board.

I mean how strong if AGM plays over the board.
AGM does not have an otb requirement. Theoretically, you could get AGM without playing over the board at all, and without having a rating.
(Assuming my information is correct)
