Traxler counter-attack.
attacking f7/f2

11...c6 puts the whole thing in doubt, and unfortunately for white, 11...Qh4! is even stronger: the best white can achieve is a very bad endgame.
6.Nxf7 is playable, but the natural 9.a3? is a bad mistake.
And- of course white can play better that that: 6.d4!- which aims sacrificing on f7 in a more sound way, according to the well-established opening principles: First develop, castle, and only then attack.
4...Bc5 as in #2 is a bright idea that loses- let's not repeat the same nonsense every time...
Why is 9.a3 mistake? Isn't a mistake to take the rook?
Attacking the f-pawns is a great strategy because they are only protected by the king, so sacrificing a piece there is a great move to get the king out in the open. Here is one opening that attacks f7 the fried liver attack:
So show me more games that attack f7 or f2.
