The network in my country is so poor that's why I opt to play long time games so that when the network gets bad I can't still recover before I run out of time; but since the introduction of auto-resign I'm deeply frustrated coz everytime the network goes bad I lose the game automatically..I've gone from being a 1750 in standard time control to 1650.I've lost so many games in a winning position and am getting totally frustrated.Pliz can this change???

Hamia Zuku :P

Seriously though.
Sometimes i think its a conspiracy. Auto-resign used to be 2.5min now it is something like 1.5. What makes me madder is that those with paid-for accounts have longer wait periods before auto-resign kicks in.

Whoever is in-charge of the website knows many of their clients come from disadvantaged countries where internet connection is bad. Why they don't strive for fairness i don't get.

they also keep barking on the forums that if you signed up for a 10- minute game, there is no point complaint if your opponent stalls and uses up your time. talk about ironic.

So lets examine this...

You only lose due to bad network connection?

You no longer have the skills of a 1750 player?

lol you have a point, if you lose to bull losses then your average play shouldn't go down, just maybe throw your keyboard into your computer and rage quit to get the loss out of your head :P

These constantly brought up complaints are just the same as your favorite team getting screwed by a bad call, but they never win because of a bad call.  Those calls are always correct.

Well yea, the timer of auto-resign should depend on the lenght of the game.

So if someone plays like 45 min timecontrol he should be able to reconnect in 10 minutes, I see nothing wrong with that..

It's just like talking a walk while having to move OTB lol

so 'analysts', how do you win a blitz match 8 moves into the game when your connection stalls?
