Have any of you experienced something like this before?
Banned player still playing daily games
*burp* idk bro u should probably report him and he'll get banned so he can't play more daily games 👍

Interesting. I had an opponent once who made several moves after a ban, but because they had been entered as conditional moves. We were following a previously played game past move thirty and were in an equal rook ending. I had to find a move that he hadn’t predicted to get his clock running so he would time out. Fortunately, it was not terribly difficult.
This game seems a different case. The banned player is not moving right away—they are not conditional moves.

This is mentioning fair play and naming names…
He is not accusing anyone of cheating. He is reporting that someone who has had their account closed for cheating is apparently still able to play.
There is a difference.

They were asking what’s happening with so many new accounts
And you still locked it
This is much more about cheating, it actually mentions a user. It’s public shaming
Don’t you have no criteria? It’s ridiculous
I’m just waiting for my mute as you don’t want to hear the truth
I agree. There should be limits on how many new threads you can start in your first week.

In some cases the mods will use their good discretion to decide whether to lock a forum post or let it continue.
You have already been advised that if you feel your forum post was unfairly locked, create a ticket with support.
Chill and stop stressing yourself out.

This IS a cheating discussion. There’s not even a question this topic should be immediately shut down.
Yet, we have mods commenting…
The 2 sided criteria is insane
You sure have a hard time admitting YOU’RE WRONG 😂😂😂🧀🐁

I've had an opponent who got banned for fair play violations, and not only does he still maintain access to his account, but he's also been continuing to make moves in our daily game! I'm extremely confused by the situation and would love to know what exactly is going on.

You should not have to continue to play against a Closed for Fair-play Account.
You should resign and report the Account for Cheating. Any Elo point loss you receive as a result of your resignation, should be awarded back to you, if not, you should contact support.

Just like how death row inmates eat their last meal waiting for their execution this cheater is having his last game before he is completely banned

MY GOD the lack of criteria is killing me
I fear the only answer is go start your own chess site.

Can someone show me where in the terms of service, community guidelines, or similar where it states what is allowed and not allowed regarding discussion of cheating in the forums? I’ve a member here almost since the beginning, but today failed to find any prohibition in the rules. Maybe our friend @artigas183 would have an easier time if the rules clearly state what is and is not allowed.

It's a known issue and my understanding is it should be fixed soon.
Ahh fair enough, cheers Martin.
