Battle VS Chess

Anybody getting the new video game Battle vs Chess?

I will be buying it for (probably) the xbox 360, however I am very curious as to if this game is, in fact, going to be released at all.  Anyone have any inside information on this?  I like the visual additions to the game, but what decided me is the Fritz 11 chess engine. There is something in the algorithm which makes for exciting, unpredictable game play, AND it has beaten some of the "strongest" chess computers on the market in head-to-head battles. 

I pre-ordered it from Amazon, and after two delays they cancelled my order and told me they couldn't secure supply from the vendor.  I'll either grab it off a shelf someday or try again later, I guess.

This doesn't sound encouraging for a release any time soon. I wish I knew if the delays were technically oriented (game performance etc.) or more political/corporate in nature.  For all the publicity that came with this game, the companies involved have a lot riding on this.
