Chess Mentor is full of good stuff, especially when paired with videos on the same topics in the video library.

I prefer Platinum, you get 95% of everything for 49% of the price.

Yeah, but if you like to (or need to Embarassed) periodically review the Chess Mentor courses you've taken, 5 lessons a day ain't gonna cut it.

Here's the catch-22 of Diamond Memberships.

A Diamond Membership is supposedly going to improve your game if you actually use the benefits of it.  So getting a Diamond Membership might make you a master.

That said, getting the title of FIDE Candidate Master, National Master, International Master, Grandmaster, etc, gets you a Free Diamond Membership for life.

So buying the membership gets you there.  Getting there gets you the Diamond Membership!  Go figure!

I'm trying to do it the hard way and get to 2200 without the Diamond Membership, then once I get there for the National Master title, use the Diamond Membership to get above that.

32 points away.  Last year got to as little as 15 points away and then fell 100 rating points.

hello ! I have taken the platinum membership, and at the beginning I was a bit frustrated because 5 lessons per day wasn't enough. but it's been months ago, now I'd I do 5 lessons a day, I call it a big " chess day". sometimes I even try to force myself doing only one lesson a day. but from time to time i would like to watch some videos, but it is possible only with diamond membership.

Isn't that 5% useful to pay double the price to get the access to it? I find video lessons to be one of the predominant reasons for me buying the diamond membership.

Exactly. 5 lessons a day are no issue. Only the non-access to video lessons are.

Might be useful in real life chess, not online. Diamond membership cannot replace a certified fide trainer.

What if one has a certified FIDE coach (like me)?

To  get title achieve real title otherwise they will just close your account applying for something which you do not have.
