Woah, didn't think this thread would be revived any time soon. Fischer and Korchnoi... sounds about right.

http://www.slate.com/blogs/quora/2014/07/09/garry_kasparov_magnus_carlsen_who_is_the_greatest_chess_player.html this place says fischer black winning percentage is 69 % ,then capablanca 68%,followed by kasparov 64%,botvinnik 63 %,finally karpov 57%(at least before fighting battles with gary kasparov , karpov always played for draw as black)White pieces kasparov 80%, Fischer 77%,karpov and botvinnik 72% and last capablanca 67%.
Hello!
I don't know if this has been asked before, but I wondered about which chess grandmaster had the best record with the Black pieces of all time. I ask this question because I've heard of some lop-sidede results with the Black and White pieces. Anatoly Karpov comes to mind as a player who would "win with White and draw with Black." On the other hand, I've heard that Botvinnik had a good record with the Black pieces. So, does anyone know who had the best record?
Thanks,
