I prepare a cup of coffee and put on knee-high fuzzy socks.
Best way to warm up before playing?

the best way to warm up before playing is to decide that the game itself is worth playing and that your opponent is a far, far better player than you and that, more mostly, most mostly, that the circumstance that you are in...a room full of people of those who love chess...is the best afternoon you will ever spend losing in.
been there and understood it.

I eat raw liver while i go AAAARGHHHH I WINNNNN YAYAHAHAHAHA ARRRR!!!!.
It doesn't work very well though.
basically i drink coffee while watching some interesting match up between the higher ranked players like Magnus, Wesley etc.. and also i eat a lot before my serious playtime

I have found that doing some chess puzzles helps, since it's a way to warm up and get into the game without worrying about my elo haha. But what do you guys do to warm up?
I watch sub 2200 ELO players blunder with every move on chess.com.
