Openings? Thought it's the way we think that we should work on
Bingo!

This is the current position from a game I'm playing. Couldn't find the opening among the 33 you got awards for. So I had to play by the gut feeling. And I'm pretty happy with it after only five moves

The list is short. Several awards are for the first move as White: 1.Nf3, 1.b3, 1.b4, 1.g3. I play the Catalan nearly every day, but only finally got the award two days ago when I played 1.d4 Nf6 2.d4 e6 3.g3. I usually use a different move order that ends up in a closed Catalan about move six. The Benoni, too, is peculiar. Black must play e6 before d6 to earn the award.

Could have started as a Dutch. But you could have played 1.f3 for all I know.

You're right. Some sort of Fischer Dutch
Here's the game so far

Lol. I only glanced at the pawn structure. Didn’t even notice the pieces until the second post. What if they found four or five names openings for each of the 960 positions and made awards. That could keep people busy.

The idea behind 960 isn’t to keep them busy, but FREE from openings.
Fischer is the same game as classical, only without op preparation, — Spassky

e2/e7 defended only by king. g2/g7 undefended. Target those.
You’re not supposed to comment as the game is ongoing. Just gave it as an example how 960, free from the opening yoke, relies only on our understanding

I managed to get all achievements except the london system, I think it must be bugged.
@Ziryab got it. It is looking for a specific position. If you don't have it, for both black and white, it won't matter. Apparently transpositions where a later position in the opening are reached don't count.
You need this position exactly.

I got that exact position in both games I just played. But still no achievement.
I tried too. Maybe it's just move order and has to be rated? @Ziryab got it a few days ago, so it obviously works.

I played a bunch of junk games against some bots and I got it tonight. I have no idea which one gave it to me
Completed my card. I have all 33 openings awards.
