Blitz play is way too strong at 600 to 800.

I think I'm done with chess. I tried doing some blitz and got destroyed. The players at this elo are doing pins, double pins with discoveries and countering perfectly. This isn't the skill set of a 600 to 800 eilo blitz player. Their playing at a much higher level. What is this? I just need to quit altogether if this is my best its been fun guys thanks.

At your rating, I doubt that you understand the skill set or lack thereof of players at your rating level +/- 200.

My rapid is above 1200 I understand very well the concepts I described above, 3 min games are simply to fast for me. 1200 eilo and above is full of legend tier who have played 20,000, 30,000, even 50,000 games here and not above 1200 rapid, let me guess they also don't understand hung peices, discovered checks that lead too taking someones queen or brilliant checkmates that with the lose of two rooks leads to checkmate...

For instance you have nearly 90,000 games here and are obviously skilled, but you still lose nearly half your games, do they all feel normal? Again I'm a lowly 1200 rapid, so I don't understand even how the pieces move, so please speak slowly and use big words. God I hate people who act like there above someone, because they happen too play 90,000 games practice then tell you that you have a negative 200 eilo, because they can't read...

It is true that I might be suspicious if a 1200 rapid player could handle pins effectively.

I’ve seen 1500s without a clue, and 800s that seem to have solid fundamentals. There is no formula for what players at certain ratings know or do not know. That was my point.

Sorry if my snark was too offensive.

1200 rapid isn't as weak here as you think i have had plenty of near perfect games were i played numerous great moves, I tend to fall apart due to time. I get into time trouble and crumble. Most of the time im up 3 points, but then my opponent just moves literally half seconds moves with perfect perception. Look at my last game. The time killed me, I made a terrible blunder. Notice how my opposite though got faster and faster until that happened. They should be moving slower in more complicated moves..

#5 it shows how some people study chess and others don’t, as I have 500 Elo players (rapid) who can handle pins effectively and I hate it .

No offense, but all your eilo for each, blitz, rapid, and bullet are below 300 eilo. I could beat you in my sleep..No offense, but I have studied the game.

1200 is well above average on this site and the top of the beginner’s class. Some players are solid, but slow. Most lack fundamentals.

So you played a few blitz games, realized ur not good and now you want to quit?

You can improve and you can’t just expect to be good immediately
