Brilliant checkmate?

Is it possible to checkmate with a brilliant move? The vast majority of the analyses I have seen rate the mate as the "best move" for being the most obvious (I guess...). Do you know any examples of a move considered "brilliant" that ends the game with a mate?

A mate in 1 could hardly be called brilliant.

Under the current definition of "brilliant", your move would have to be a sacrifice. That would mean it isn't mate.

No brilliant is a sacrifice

I almost did a Brilliant with a checkmate, and for some reason it doesn’t need to be a sacrifice.

It can be a "great" (!) move if the position was equal or outright losing for you before the opponent hung mate in 1, but that's it.
