I'm looking for ANYONE who has played a game where they've played at least 1 brilliant move in the analysis. I'd like to see the game, please. First player to reward me with such will get a very special reward from me. Good luck!

Analysis MUST identify it as a brilliant move. It can't be what you think is a brilliant move. Good luck!

I don't check the analysis of my games often, but I remembered the computer gave this one the 'brilliant' mark on move 14: https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/live/3794399153

It was a nice combination for blitz, but I've definitely seen better.

Excellent CK1886! I wouldn't have seen that move, and this is exactly what I was looking for. As a reward I can give a gift membership, or if you already have one, I can extend it. Much thanks for the game!

Challenge over, gals and pals, thanks for playing!

Thank you for your generous offer krazykat1975. happy.png Considering you don't have a membership, you should treat yourself to one before you give one away to others!

One brillant move in this game and beauty prize in the tournament played by a GM.

This game also is a brillant game (Alphazero's style) including one brillant move by computer for blacks even if they lost the game.

If Black made a brilliant move in that game, it was 15...Qxc4 which was labeled a mistake in this awefully poor quality "analysis".

What was the award for? Source?

If you looked at the analysis, it was the Qd3+ move. As for the reward, I couldn't find anything online.

I know dude. Qxc4 was brillant for an human eye but the analysis of the computer on chess.com is very far from perfect. For example in the other game (the second one I shared) Bxg6!! is too deep for the computer to understand it but it's the best move.

For the london game, it was played in the cap d'agde tournament in France in 2018 by GM Fedorchuk against an IM.

I wouldn't be so critical about the analysis tool. I don't believe it's bad to use it but you have to be aware that it's not an absolutly truth on the screen that's all.

To finish this comment here is another example of brillant move which is considered a mistake by the computer analysis because it's too weak to understand the point behind the sacrifice. I like that game. I hope you will too.

Garry_Karpov1

People, tell me pliz, what is the difference between Maxim Bloch books
“Combination motives” and “Combination art”, are they strongly overlapping?
Is there someone who has worked both books?
I want to study, but I don’t understand where to start ... Or is it about the same thing?
