I'm sorry but what is a bughouse?
KIESH2
Bughouse and a similar variation called crazyhouse are chess variants where it is possible to put captured pieces back on the board.
@kiesh2
Bughouse is a variant of normal chess. It is basically two teams pitted against each other (normally 2v2). On one team, there will be one player who plays as white, and one who plays as black. Whenever the player who plays as black captures a piece, he/she will give it to the white player, who may put it down on the board whereever he/she likes. Of course, placing a piece takes up a turn.
There are different variations of Bughouse with different rules, such as...
No PlaceCheck - You cannot place a piece where it would be checking the opponent's king.
No PlaceMates - You cannot place a piece where it would mate the opponent's king.
One general rule is that you cannot place a pawn on the 8th rank and immediately queen it, although you CAN place pawns on the 7th rank to promote next move. Although some versions ban this too.

At the first question, I dunno - I was looking for that too.
i posted a thread on this like 2 weeks ago. lol, why couldn't mine have been this popular? anyway, i fully support bughouse getting bughouse on chess.com. i think you could organize teams, but i doubt rankings because there's too many variables to succesfully account for skill unfortuntely :(....i rock at this. hope to see it online soon.
http://www.chess.com/forum/view/community/bughouse my post on bughouse btw....
oh wait i saw this in another thread:
Bughouse is a variant of normal chess.
With all the normal removed.
Good explanation of this accursed game that has been the ruin of many good chess players. Bughouse, like poker and the Caro-Kann, was invented down below as an effort to destroy chess.
It was a literary reference:
"And the Devil smiled as he made a move of his own. Because, you see, there are many openings out there, and each, in a way, was touched by the hand of God, each has its own place in the design of the divine. Save for one. And the Devil bared his teeth in a grin as he pushed his c-pawn one square, for the Caro-Kann comes from the deepest pits of Hell, and so 1...c6 was played."
"The Beginning" ChessBase News (31 December 2005)
I think the Caro-Kann was nicknamed "the Devil's opening" long before Garry Kasparov could get no wins against it in his matches against Karpov 1984-1985.
Of course, if it is so evil that White can get no where against it, perhaps we all should play it.
I am to cool for that.
Is that some sort of punishment?
Stand outside for a couple of hours?
How come chess.com do not have bughouse?
