Can I use this site to play a game against myself?

Either to play locally with another person, or to use the chessboard to input moves from a game from elsewhere I have written the moves for?
So I can then use the analyse feature.
On the app you can use the play vs computer and set both players to human. On the site, you can use an analysis board. On both, you'll want make sure you have the settings the way you want them (e.g. turn off engine analysis).

Where on the site do I find the analysis board?
The bottom part leads to the analysis board

Thanks, I just have 2 more questions
Once I've played a game using the analysis board and wish to download the PGN to my computer, is there a way to add in the event/site/date/white/black etc info before download?
How do I have one side resign or register that a draw has been agreed?

Can I have the analysis board open a PGN already on my computer?
1. You can go to the Details tab and enter the details before downloading the pgn file
2. Nope But there is another way. Open the .pgn file in your computer with a Text Editor, and copy the PGN data to the Load PGN

Adding data like this in the editor may help

Got it thanks.
This is a great site, I've been playing chess for years but never thought about looking up "chess.com" until a few days ago.

Playing chess against yourself. WOW !!!!! I haven't done that in a dogs' age. I always liked to set up a board & when walking around the house doing life's chores stop for a few minutes & have a look. No hurry. No worry. Take a week or a month or more to play a game. I'm old school & was taught that to learn something well. First you get good then you get fast. That's the way I was taught to learn anything. Not that I'm that good at either. Have to dust off the pieces once in while. The longer the better. You always know what the other guy is thinking. Now that's a challenge! So glad to see others are of the same mind!

I played like 100 games with myself on a chessboard. It's pretty easy. I dont know why some people have trouble playing it like that . I get to learn a lot, especially in the endgames.

While I'm at it. Talking that is. Does anyone know why When I'm doing my 25 Puzzles (my membership level/day) why does the number of tactics done not come up as you doing them? Also happens if you stop & return later. Used to do so before the Puzzles were upgraded. I'm really too lazy to try & keep track in my head. I know you go into your stats on them & see the ones you did & count them up....But I liked it the way it was before. Is there no way we could that ability back?

Almost forgot. While I'm at it again again. When I check my messages from previous Daily Puzzle posts where I made comments on them I don't get to try the puzzle again like I used to while checking out new comments. Part II Of Puzzled By The Puzzles CHESS RULES !!!!!

In the Play Computer setting I do NOT see where it can be set to play HUMAN. I would like to play myself in a game of chess but do not see how this is done. Can someone explain more fully. thank you
