can u get banned from chess.com by being reported

If it's true, sure. But Chess.com gets a lot of false reports as well, so the Support team always investigate and never just take the reporter's word for it.

A decision to ban would not be made willy nilly. A report would probably lead to an investigation, and where a broader picture of site violations emerge, then you might get banned. (I assume this to be the process)

someone will probably taking this seriously like. me ha!

g0 ah3ad i don't nowe houw to sp3ll

lol someone was being rude to me then I reported them then they said they were gonna report me for no reason

I think I got reported for stalling out some games... I don't do that anymore (well I just rage quit sometimes but thats only like 20 seconds or something in blitz)... Bah when I hang a rook in a hard fought endgame ARGGG...

I can't open chess.com from my IP address but I'm able to play with the same account using VPN. Does this mean that I'm banned? I didn't do anything wrong though, at least intentionally.

This guy reported me for trying ONE game with a chess assister!? Will I get banned?
If a "chess assister" is any sort of engine, then you KNEW that that was against the rules.

Hopefully yes, but if it's just 1 game maybe not.

lol, it was waaaaay more than 1 game.
I'll report you too just in case... these freakin' kids... lol...

that's punctuation problems, not grammar.

Actually, getting help from a human is also not allowed.

Yes, of course... but harder to prove online.
Engine assistance can be proven statistically (five-sigma) with a sufficiently large sample set.
