could a player like me get to 2000? My goal is a 2,000 rapid. Please don't look at my last rapid and judge it was me playing while watching a show and having a conversation.

It is not possible to "brute force" anything. Study chess, play a lot. Respect and love this beautiful game.

I agree, I love chess, but im not very good at it.

Brute force = play and analyse your losses.
As long as you learn something from each loss, you will reach 2000.

Tyler1's highest was 1960 rapid and and that was in May.

2000 blitz is a whole other ballgame.

His highest blitz rating is 1029.

My understanding is Tyler1 was an incredible league of legends player, and people who are that good at one game can usually transfer at least somewhat of their skills. I mean he likely has elite levels of perception, visualization, and quick to pick up things.

So not likely, even with analyzing your games afterwards, especially playing with increment as no increment can allow cheesing. Though I have come across occasionally people over 1900/2000 blitz with increment playing the bowdler or whale or McDonnell attack with e5 or other garbage suggesting they know no theory, some of those could be trolling or cheating though.
