It was the last round and the game was meaningless. Either could have lost and still moved on to the quarterfinals.
What I find disrespectful is playing a more serious and repeated known line, and then calling it a day. Like this one.

Embarrassing and stupid. Chess - the only sport where players throw games and it's "ok." Oh, but it doesn't matter, I hear you cry. Every game matters, pallie, as does every point.
The two greatest speed chess players in the world are seen laughing as they shuffle their kings around the digital board. However, some of their fans weren't as happy, as they had anticipated a intense chess match instead of a quick draw before the 7th move. These grandmasters were quite happy with a draw as they had already qualified in the tournament and it was either this or the 14 moves Berlin draw that had already occurred multiple times throughout the day. Was this a disrespectful move order that ruined the integrity of the game or just another lighthearted draw? Would love to hear the opinions of the forum.
