He he and yet again this path set up has restricted my account because I declined to play YET another CHEATER.
Come on MOD remove this cannot have anyone upset on hearing what a paying member thinks.

For those not able to follow this post, he doesn't like having his account restricted when he decides to quit/abort games. He comes here to badger the mods.

For those not able to understand my point. I am a paying member I never quit games, I do decline to play someone whom I consider a cheater, that would be someone who has numerous comments made that they cheat, or ratings from 350 to 1800 in a very short period, or who has numerous views and all comments deleted.

notmtwain is right though I don't like my account being restricted and I wish him luck with his application to become a mod, he sounds quite qualified.

Declining a challenge can't restrict your account. You are allowed to decline challenges. That means you do something else that is not allowed. And what's the point in doing all this? If you think someone cheats block him and never speak to him again: Problem  solved.

Seems to me that notmtwain is right. You are more interested in making a fuss than anything else.

he's not declining, he's aborting

If you let the system abort the game before you make a move, I'm pretty sure there isn't any penalty.

If, on the other hand, you're aborting after you've made a move, the system has no way of knowing why you're doing so - if you do that repeatedly, you get the warning and then the restriction.

Some stats can look odd, but it does seem as if you might be seeing cheating in situations that aren't as clear cut as that - I highly recommend joining the Cheating Discussion forum at https://www.chess.com/club/cheating-forum, as they're experts in this.

With potential cheaters, the best course of action is to report them via Help --> Report Abuse --> Contact; any analysis you could supply would help the team greatly.

Thanks for being a paying member of Chess.com!

How do abort after playing a move? I thought aborting was only possible before u have made any moves!
