[public accusations not allowed -- MOD] Can you please verify my last 5 games with this player. There is no way in the world he can pull this off. Yes I lost I admit - But it's impossible that his moves were so perfect.

Naming and accusing of cheating is not allowed on forums, you can report it to staff.

The cheating forum isnt to learn how to cheat, its to discuss cheating.

That is some atrocious spelling there, bud. And like GodsPawn said, the group is to discuss cheating in general, mostly when it happens to you. And you can't discuss it in the forums because most of the time people are wrong. And regardless of whether or not someone cheated, there shouldn't be a witch hunt going after them, which often happens. The mods are capable of dealing with cheating on their own site however they see fit. Cheating is pretty impossible to detect anyway if the person is smart about it. If they're using an engine the entire game then they'll be banned. But to just use an engine to find a good move in a bad position is virtually impossible to detect, let alone prove.

There should be an image here. If it doesn't show up, it's not my fault.

You can't discuss cheating in the forums because it's bad publicity for chess.com.

Cheating is fairly easy to detect unless the cheater is very clever, but it's resource-intensive. Even selective engine use as you describe can be spotted.

Trucks. I just made this thread into a modern country song with one word.

Obviously this should be moved to the cheats forums, but out of curiousity can you share the algorithm you use to tell the difference between the one move a player may have made in a bad situation vs the one move the chess engine suggested.

Please spell out how you determine that a player given the position could not have come up with that same move.

Strangemover

The OP hung pieces in each of the 5 straight losses here anyway.

You lost these games due to hanging pieces, missing simple tactics, and not following opening principles.  Cheating was not required to win.

How do you make the difference between a native speaker from your native country/state and a fluent foreign speaker ? Smile

Chess is very much like a language you know.

I don't know what you're talking about. Suspicion isn't proof. Probability isn't proof. There's literally no way to prove that someone used an engine for a single move (a move that could decide a game). I'm not sure what magical voodoo powers you have to know 100%, without a doubt, that a person didn't come up with that move on their own.
