Cheating in Leagues: A (almost) Guarantee Strat to get #1 in Every Division

I was thinking about leagues and realized the rules can easily be exploited to gain hundreds or even thousands of trophies, as long as you have time to burn. It's quite simple and I'm sure some of you are already doing it, it goes as follows: 1. Tank your rating (resign or play fool's mate) note: this doesn't lower trophy count 2. Destroy lower rated players 3. Profit 4. Rinse and repeat It's kind of frustrating to me that the rules could be bent in this way. Chess.com needs to lower the trophy count for losses, otherwise anyone with enough time to spare could pull this off. I can be working as hard as I can for wins and improving my rating, but someone can just circumvent the hard part and easily beat me.

Well you could try this, BUT your acc would probably get closed for sandbagging
