You have over 7000 games played and you're just now complaining about cheaters?
Cheating on Chess.com and what can be done about.

Loctite is good stuff, especially the red if you want things secure. I use blue on the threads that hold optics on my firearms.

i had one person that i suspected of cheating on a daily game & mods closed the account before the game finished without me even reporting the person.
surprise twist: i was able to achieve a winning position at the end anyways lol...
most cheating accusations seem to come from sub-1000 rated players that can't fathom how anybody could possibly see through their masterful strategy.
This site and its construct isn’t the problem - people are the problem.
Instead of having thoughtful human beings playing here, all too often what we have is human waste.
Take it as a sign of the times we live in: as Western civilization nears its end: people are going to become worse, and worse, AND WORSE, until some sort of global catalclysm kills millions upon millions of them, and the survivors return to humility and civility.
This is much bigger than an overrated game (chess); civilization itself is breaking down, everywhere you look. The online crudeness is just a symptom of the overall spiritual malaise, which is terminal and can’t be corrected.

well that escalated quickly lol... 🤪
You are right. But, he's probably mostly right too.

I believe that Chess.com is doing a disservice to the game of chess for allowing rampant cheating to take place on their site. Members cheat by engine playing and also, time riggers. One only needs to try to play a fair game on a Monday afternoon to get destroyed by engine players with a 1600-1700 points. It is a real shame that this is allowed to happen as this has intended and unintended consequences: letting people know -through your inaction- that it is OK to cheat on this site, provided you have a payed subscription is part of the former. The latter and darker side of this, is bringing the game of chess to a new low, where cheating is OK, where fair play is nowhere to be found, where honest players can be abused and preyed on with impunity, where lack of skill or study of the game can be replaced with bots and clock rigging.
Look at your new leagues tournaments. People with 1400, 1500 and 1600 Chess.com points are top Champions and Legends! How can this be? Why is Chess.com doing this to the game of chess?
