Cheating with Engines and Banning.

someone gets 100% best move on every game. they might think that's suspicious.

your not allowed to discuss cheating in forums so they lock it (making it impossible to comment on the post) so i said which means i commented something before chess.com locked it

The software works by determining how many moves a human player makes that matches the best move as found by a strong engine. If it's a high percentage, this information (plus a lot of other analysis, I'm sure - chess.com understandably won't reveal their exact methods) is used to determine if someone is cheating. It's very accurate. Even the strongest GM players can't consistently play engine moves over the course of a game.

Chess.com's cheat detection program is very strong.
I used to think otherwise, but then they banned a bunch of my opponents who I personally analyzed, but couldn't determine anything.
I'm not surprised that your friend, who sounds like a very weak player, got banned quickly.
He probably didn't even try to thwart the detection, which makes it trivial for anyone with a copy of stockfish to see.

He will just open another account, so it doesnt matter how strong/good/effective the cheat detection is.

And would you leave your wallet out on the table in front of him?

Chess.com takes cheating very seriously: see https://www.chess.com/article/view/chess-com-fair-play-and-cheat-detection, https://support.chess.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1444879-fair-play-on-chess-com-what-you-need-to-know and https://www.chess.com/blog/DanielRensch/cheating-on-chesscom.
Having said that, public accusations in the open forums is not the way to address these concerns, so I am locking this thread; please report any suspected cheating to the Support team via https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new and trust that it will be investigated, even if there is no immediate visible action.
