Army, when you say nothing's done aren't you calling this site liars? And if they aren't doing anything, can you do something besides complain and get threads locked? This isn't to be discussed in open forums. If nothing's being done, why not play bots or go to lichess.org?

Hello Mark. I almost echo Army. In my experience very very rarely (like once in 3 years) have I received compensatory rating points even though I’ve accused dozens of cheating. Now I’m sure chess.com will accuse me of over accusing. But almost always it’s when a 1600-1700 player scores above 90%. More importantly, chess.com should identify those who they judged to have cheated and publish it somewhere that Joe chess player can see. Then chess.com can be believed when they say they check for cheating and remove cheaters from their rolls!!!

A 90% + accuracy is not evidence of foul play. A lot of players just play well rehersed systems, particularly gambits that go to plan and result in a high accuracy win.

Do you seriously think that Chess.com are going to publish such a list of people ? Give your head a shake.

Why not, then I can actually believe them (chess.com)!

Also lots of players I’ve accused play poorly then mid game and after they play like masters!

The perception of cheating levels is orders of magnitude more than the actual amount. The vast majority of games and players are clean

If you report someone and they don't get closed after a few days then either

  • There's insufficient evidence of cheating
  • There's no evidence of cheating
