The Superfluous-Queen Mate:
This one works with a White rook as well - you don't even need a queen to give checkmate...

I can't seem to post more than 5 posts in a row - it's against the site's Policy, so if someone can do a favor and make a comment, even a dot - ".", I'll be very happy. Cheers!

The Fleeing King Mate
"Boden's Ugly Brother, Mate" (nr 3) is no forced mate! Why should black play b6? Nearly every rook move brings black in a more than fine position.
Kinda looks as though Wikipedia editors are chasing novelty of nomenclature, rather than making an effort to classify actual patterns.
Some mating patterns fall into related families.
The family of Lolli mates are all based on the presence of an attacking Pawn on f6 (f3).
The simplest one:
It gets a bit harder if the Queen is back one square.
Thunder Mate - Double Check, but the attacked king has no escape-square.

Notice - Even if both the rook and bishop who are attacking, can be captured, it doesn't matter - it's still mate. Here:
Both rook and knight can be captured, but not at the same time - therefore - mate. You should always double check in life - results are better.
George Renaud and Victor Kahn, The Art of the Checkmate does a terrific job of organizing the essential patterns. Originally written in French, there are two English translations widely available: a 1953 translation with English descriptive notation, and reissued as an inexpensive paperback by Dover in 1962. In 2015, Batsford issued an “improved translation” with algebraic notation.
The first time in my life that I saw that the Anastasia's mate was real in practice [the rook coming to 3rd - 5th rank looks strange]

- That's the deal - the rook doesn't have to be on 3rd - 5th rank...

There are the Wikipedia ones, I think there are more, therefore I've opened this thread. It goes without saying, that you're all welcome to add patterns. If you add a pattern that already existed, you'll get shocked by Magnus:

Now let's get busy:

Here are some patterns that I saw (I'm the one making up these names for the mates):
