I have covid, and so does my wife. Today is my fifth day....her fourth. Anyway, I'm averaging about 10 games a day, and just want you to know that if you played me during this time.....those blunders? That was the covid talking.
I reviewed a game I played today, and learned that I had mate in one for three successive moves, and neither I nor my opponent saw it. I had two rooks and a bishop involved, but it was an innocent looking pawn move that would have done it. Anyway, I had three successive blunders for not seeing it, as did my opponent. I wonder if that's a record....6 successive blunders.
