chess and football

In the thick of the american football season, I love comparing the strategy of a football offense and defense with the strategy of chess!

I look on it as a war between two opposing armies.

I liken both games as having key pieces or players as part of your over all strategy and openings, middle, and end games as part of your football "play book"

Yeah....in football theres some luck

and in chess its basically all skill.......
