Chess App for Anroid with Multi-Window function

I am using a Samsung Galaxy tablet and phone to read Amazon Kindle chess books. It is a bit of a hassle to also have a chessboard next to my tablet, in order to follow long variations in the book.

Samsung Android devices have the ability to show two apps at the same time. My intention therefore is to have the Kindle app open and next to it a chess app that lets me enter moves, allowing me to follow the book. Preferably it should be possible to enter positions and not only to start a game from the starting position.

The tricky thing is that not all apps are enabled for the so-called multi-window function. I managed to get the Kindle app to work. But now I am looking for a chess app that works in the multi window mode.

My question to the forum is: Do you guys know of any Android chess app that works in multi window mode?

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Have you tried the stockfish app?

The "Stockfish Chess" app from Karl Schreiner is only an engine. In order to run it you would need a UI, such as "Chess for all".  To answer your question , yes I did... doesn't work, same for Droidfish, Analyze This, Chessbase, Shredder, etc,....

Chess Study Lite is what you want.

Thanks for the replies, chess book study and chess study lite seem to be great apps! But unfortunately they don't work with the multi window function. Or am I missing something? Any other suggestions?

Android system is not as great as windows for PC. I think the 2 suggestion is the best.
