If you go into bot you will see five holiday bots and beating all 5 will get 5 achievements - one for each one beat. You don't have to beat all the bots but then you won't get 5 of them.

No you have to move the king like this. Castling is a separate achievement.

Don't the achievements for variants work anymore? I just played 10 games of 3-check and I didn't get the achievement. Also it doesn't appear on my profile under stats, or the stats page itself. It also doesn't appear in my archive games, but if I go to chess variants, it does show up there under archived games.

So, you get get the achievement by challenging someone directly. If you go to variants and challenge, you have a separate rating system, which doesn't count for rating on your profile and/or for you achievement. This is odd and seems like a bug to me.
