Chess.com has been overloaded

Chess.com's servers are really struggling right now and you will probably get a 502 error trying to open this page

Just received the same message - it seems doubtful this is a sudden surge in interest Chess.com usage.

Since I pay lots of $$$ to use this site, I recommend giving priority to those that pay $$$!!

I pay as well, it's not Lots of $$$. I don't even know how much it is.
But I do know what a Server costs, and whatever I pay, is peanuts compared to cost of running a website like this.

I wouldn't want to have people be kicked out for not playing, that would be bad in the long run.

Its been overloaded for me for the past half hour at least. Could you guys just target the free members of the site when the servers are overloaded, reducing the load and not degrading the experience for people who actually pay for the service.

Massive site with a big development team and they can't even keep their servers running properly. Its sad. Smaller chess sites (no names) with less of a dev team can keep their servers running, but chess.com is having "traffic issues"

So annoying can't even delete notifications.
