Chess.com's cheating detection system is flawed.

look at the numbers, in 24 hours chess.com gets about an average of 140 thousand new players, hence the massive chess upscore of 2015-2025. this has caused suspicion in me about cheaters getting washed in and out of chess.com. if we take MGleason's word for it the bot of chess.com for reporting cheaters bans 70k cheaters using and kind, stockfish, nextmove, ect. and multiple sites including chess.com are saying that mods do an impressive amount of work at 30k cheaters banned a month. 100k cheaters banned a month but, how many are joining a month and now are still here is the question. a lot of people say that its a 1-14 games or 1-15 games chance to encounter a new cheater who has joined in the past day/24 hours. 14 look familiar to you? if we take those numbers of the most common 1-14 cheater rate and divide the 140 thousand players a day that join. 140'000 divided by 14 is 10'000 10 thousand cheaters a day you have it. if we take that the average month is 30 days that means 140'000 x 10 x 3 is our answer to monthly total joiners or 4.2 million most never coming back or deleting themselves. but lets not get too technical and say its 4.2 million. 10 thousand cheaters a day out of that bunch is the same thing 10'000 x 10 x 3 or 300'000 cheaters a month. but they only ban 100'000 a month right? so 200'000 cheaters every month get past their eyes and build up r count

The perception of cheating levels is orders of magnitude more than the actual amount.

The site closed more than 74,000 accounts in November for fair play violations and has a full team of staff working on reports along with some automated systems for detection.
