chess database for scid vs pc / linux lovers

I have wanted to post some databases of games that have been on the internet for a while, compiled by sites that gained popularity or game lovers.

Although these databases are already outdated, they can be very interesting to those who want to have access to a non-paid chess base.

Today perhaps the best option for an updated and accessible game base, (and my personal recommendation) is Caissa base
you can access it on its website:

2.9 million quality chess games

2. OTB-HQ (.si4)
part of the codekiddy-chess project
2.51 million games. Minimum ELO rating is 2000 (for both players)

3. GorgoBase (.si4)
a database of 2.77 million games by combining all TWIC files since the beginning until 1097, and all the files at PGN Mentor.

4. ICOFy Base (.si4)
a big database, mostly master games.
