Why when I am playing correpondance chess the scoring  chess board changes for notation? example upper left some games is a and other gasmes it is g-they are reverse for score keeping-same things with the numbers. I thought A was upper right  and 1.I look at the scoring notation box for some of my games and they reverse form each other?

I understand chess notation  but just confused  why every game it is not the same?  Some games upperleft  is a  and others  it is G in the notation box.

forgot the alphabet some games upper is left is a and other games h-why is is it reversed

Yeps you found it :)
White has the (black colored) square A1 on his left hand, Black has the (also black colored) square H8 on his left hand.

why? shouls it not be  a1-taught scoring from left to right  a-h  and top to bottom 1-8

That would lead to a different notation for each of the 2 players. So to make it easy the chessboard itself has coordinates, that both players use.

Just be glad that we now use this notation. Before this they used descriptive notation and both players indeed had different notation of the same square: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Descriptive_notation

not sure your right withthe algerbriac  notation------------A1 is a1 regardless is oyur black or white and that still does not answer one of my questions regardless------it should not be in reverse form game ot game

It's not different from game to game.

The a, b, c, and d files are always on the queenside.  The e, f, g, and h files are always on the kingside.

Similarly, the white pieces always start on the 1 and 2 ranks, while the black pieces always start on the 7 and 8 ranks.

A1 isn't always "your queen's rook's starting square."  Rather, it is "white's queen's rook's starting square."

Note that this is different than Descriptive Notation, in which the name of a square is based on which side of the board the piece originated.

King's pawn opening:

Descriptive Notation:

1. P-K4 P-K4

Algebraic Notation:

1. e4 e5

I have games  where it is h1 in the upper left  should be a1 -i have games where it is h1

H1 is in the upper left when you are playing black.  That's it.  You're just looking at the board from the other side.  The square is in the same place, it's you that is in a different place.

My chess board doesn't have the notations at the side!? (1 - 8, A - H) this makes me less good, even though there pretty useless they actually help me play better usually and make me see things like my queen in danger, without them I prolly wouldnt see it and loose my queen! I'm confused I thought that was on every board???
