Chess is a game of talent.

Every time I play a match, the opposing players always create an advantage for themselves.
I can't see through it and break it.
I can never improve.
That's why I don't enjoy playing chess.
After all, isn't chess a game of talent?

You say, ``You can improve your chess skills if you spend time.''
Is it true?

Isn't it because you have a natural talent for chess that you can improve?

People like me who are easily distracted and irritated are probably not suited for this game.

I deeply regret meeting Chess.
If I am not interested in such things,
I would have saved my precious time.

I want to find more fun games.
i want a new hobby
I want to be absorbed in a game that I have never experienced before.

I hate chess.
i will never play again.
I quit
good bye.

Finally, I'll attach my pretty clumsy play.
Sorry for wasting your time.

Some people might be naturally better at chess than others, but no one is really that good just starting. Everyone must learn how the pieces move and basic checkmates and things like this before they move up.

Breaking through an opponent strategy also isn't easy. Even if you sense their strategy is flawed, actually exploiting it is much more tricky to do and requires a certain understanding of the game and why their strategy was flawed in the first place.

Give it time. I don't know how long you've played chess before, but your account is less than 2 weeks old. I've been playing chess on chess.com for over 5 years now and others have played chess much longer. This isn't to say you need many years of experience, but don't get discouraged so early as your opponents might have more chess playing experience or study than you do.

Just try to keep learning and improving and enjoy the chess journey happy.png

Chess is not a game of talent. It’s something you learn to do, but by bit, over a period of time. If you really want to improve, you have to work at it.

There’s nothing wrong with not wanting to improve, either. You can play the game and enjoy it, whatever your skill level is.

Omg, stop with the drama!! You’ve literally been on this site for 12 days!!😂 Did you think you would just jump right into the game and be great? It doesn’t work like that..

The game you attached was dead even until you made a serious miscalculation on move 19 and then another on move 21. And if you go back and review your game (which is how you get better btw)… you’ll be able to clearly see what your mistakes were so that you’ll be less likely to do it again in the future.

Also (last post, sorry)… you don’t have to stick around moving your king back and forth for 20 moves while your opponent promotes all of his pawns. Click on the hamburger at the bottom of the game and hit “resign” as soon as you feel like your game is unwinnable. Then just move onto the next one. You don’t have to torture yourself.

Talent helps, but hard work is more valuable by far.
