Chess is toxic its a negative game.

At least you didn't subscribe. I have to stay here on cheat.com until Feb. Btw I haven't had rating refunded for losing to a cheater for more than half a year. Apparently they already gave up

Maybe chess just isn't for people who take losses very personally.
Chess is great game over the board. Online chess is cancer. Online chess will die, with all the engines and cheating softwares and all it has no future

you will never be anything at chess, despite 1,000s of hrs or even 10s of thousands, because of engine users you lose, your tired or distracted, you lose.
.....I feel gas lighted by chess...
Boohoo

Have you seen cheating and engine use statistics on chess.com or on Lichess? They're far below a percent. Maybe a tenth of a percent. Let's be real It's really unlikely that you'll meet any cheating or engine use in your lifetime. Players just like to blame absolutely everything on it.
C’mon man you are fooling yourself, it’s not chess. Let’s be real it’s a hobby, it’s a time sink, it’s not your profession or destiny in life. If you accept that, then you can enjoy chess or let it go. The pain comes from lying to yourself that this is something important while in reality it’s just a time sink since it’s not realistic to be a top player without treating it as a full time job + talent + starting young etc. If chess is a just a hobby would you play it? And if you want chess to be your life, then is it realistic? Don’t play chess as a hobby but treat it as something larger than life, either play it for real, or start thinking it’s just a hobby. Don’t treat it as a hobby but think it’s your career.

#1 say that to grandmasters that to people who have became grandmasters.at least what im sble to see is you joined 17 days ago and if thats when you first started playing chess then well done, you have improved really fast if not then i would say you are frustrated because you are going trough a period where you are playing badly even if studiying or that chess just isnt for you.your statement is completely wrong, there is many good people that have been checked arent cheaters for example @Hikaru is well over 3000 blitz and i saw there was a untitled guy who is 3333 in bullet 🙀🙀

Lol. Go watch youtube channel "Chess Vibes", he's 2300 titled and probably like 20-30 % of his opponents are clean cheaters. Doing random king moves in the middle of piece exchange happening on the other side of chess board, long time thinking on obvious recaptures and so on. Go tell him your story about tenth of a percent, LOL. I personally played people at 100 % winratio, 95-99 % accuracy every single game and even after weeks accounts were still active and crushing people. It's out of control

I'm not saying it isn't true. Maybe it is. I've seen a cheater only once and I've played more than a thousand game on both chess.com and lichess

Could be because you are low rated. People don't cheat in order achieve 800 rating, usually they want to stick around or over 2000, so they create new account at 1600 rating and then trample over us who are between that and their goal...

You're probably right.

You proved his point then. Since the top players are in the top 1 percent of players on Chess.com the Cheaters also being there, are a fraction of a percent.

This is a great comment. Thank you.
you will never be anything at chess, despite 1,000s of hrs or even 10s of thousands, because of engine users you lose, your tired or distracted, you lose. Got a cold you lose, oops I moved my peice to a square that five moves from now will allow a pin of my queen you lose, mouse slip you lose on and on you lose for stupid things like your 5 seconds less time or whatever. I feel like there absolutely no way to ever achieve a level were I would say yea 2,000 is amazing and I feel like I acheived somthing here. I feel like this game is a toxic wheel of insanity and I hate it!, but I also love the game and can't let it go as if I'm addicted to it! Why play a game that is nearly impossible to become a true master at? Chess isn't like other games it has this way of making you feel like every loss is a testimony to your utter stupidity and every win a way of making you feel like everything is possible if I work hard.....I feel gas lighted by chess...
