Chess King

Yeah, CT-Art, used to be convekta. Now labeled as Chess King. The whole series looks good, but their main software, CT-ART, has over 2000 tactics puzzles that are systematically designed for improvement. Great for an Ipad or mobile device. Probably one of the best ways to improve and study tactics available I think. It comes up a lot in chess discussions on tactics.

Chess king is Literally the best Chess App for IOS/Android. CT-Art for your phone/tablet plus many more courses. And all available offline!

Instead of CT-Art, I downloaded Chessimo on my old iPhone. The first batch of units were very basic tactics but once you started unit 2, it became a lot more useful. I got it because at the time the tactics unit for it was cheaper than CT-Art.
I find that there is SO MUCH at chessking.com that I can't even decide which ones to get. All of their Android apps have several chapters to them; and the first two or three chapters is always free. That means about 60 free exercises (puzzles), boards, and explanations, categorized, and most of them are just above my level anyway. Multiply that by about 60 different apps, and you get a LOT. I find that I can't possibly exhaust their free loss-leaders. Just DL (if you have Android, it's all over the Google Play Store; can't comment on I-Phone platform) and try out ANY one of their apps and you'll see how much is packed in there, and how large an amount of free stuff you get at the top of each app.
Anyone have any recent reviews? Which would be better (or worse) for a beginner like me (presume I know the rules; nothing else).

I'm resurrecting this thread because of Chessable and its acquisition by Play Magnus and Chess24.
I feel that ChessKing had a head start with all the Convekta/ChessOk resources translated to the "chess trainer" format that. They had titles that were based on the classic textbooks by Russian trainers/coaches such as Victor Golenishchev, Maxim Blokh's CT-Art and Alexander Panchenko.
However Chessable converted new books by Russel Enterprises, New in Chess, Quality Chess and Thinkers Chess to "chess trainers." That's a strong move IMO.

Both look pretty good, but Chessable seems very pricy for each title. Does chessable allow for offline use? I may opt for CT-Art/CK due to these things and its reputation, although I'll keep an eye out for Chessable.
My dilemna is do I buy the individual app (CT-Art 4.0) or buy it as a course under ChessKing? Not sure if the operation is different or not.
