I am currently enrolled in the ICS "Chess Master School". It is a good self study program and very structured. At this point in the course I've covered tactical, positional, board visualization and king attacking/safety modules.
Its also starts with "how to think" and unlike most things I've read with that claim it has helped me decrease my blunderous moves with my "bad move" hand. (although not entirely eliminated ;)
I recommend it. I'm in my second month. I make notes and study it very hard. You have a full plate with this course so if you have the time to study for an hour or more every other day I recommend again.

anybody ever take this program? I'd like some reviews on it if anybody has. I have been using chess.com and some books I have purchased to study. While I feel like I am progressing, I don't feel like my studying has any structure. With this they have a structured program that allows you to progress gradually by following their curriculum. I have been considering it. it is 34 bucks a month which is cheaper than paying a coach 4x a month. While it can not replace the attention you can get from having a personal chess coach, given my financial situation is this a good alternative?
