I started reading a chess book. The problem is it does not have move notations in modern format. It's notations are as follows:

1. P-Q4 P-Q3 2. P-K4 P-KN3
3. N-QB3 B-N2 4. B-K2 N-QB3 5. B-K3 N-B3 6. P-Q5 N-QN1
7. N-B3 P-B4 8. P-KR3 0-0 9. N-Q2 N-Kl 10. 0-0 N-B2 11.
P-QR4 QN-R3 12. P-B4 N-N5 13. N-B4 P-B4! 14. P-K5 P-N3!
15. B-B3 B-QR3 16. P-QN3 BxN 17. PxB PxP 18. PxP BxP 19.
R-R3 N-Kl! 20. P-Q6 NxP! 21. BxR QxB 22. Q-K2 BxN 23. RxB
N-K5 24. B-Q2 P-K4! 25. B-R6 NxR 26. QxP N-K7ch 27. K-B2
R-B2 28. QxN Q-K5 and Black won.

It is taking too much time to visualise moves in this way.

What is this format called?

Any software to convert these into normal PGN files?

Or any chess software to read them directly?

Thanks.

That's called Descriptive Notation (DN).  It was the preferred method of notation here in the US until the mid-seventies.  I still use it to record my tournament games.  I don't know of any conversion software, but I'm hardly an expert on computers.
