early on weekdays. hella late on weekends...
Chess players: how late do you stay up?

sleep ?? where does I find that ?
It's somewhere near the bottom of that whiskey bottle!
Let's have a good night's game sometimes, with a bottle of single malt to aid the calculating process.

part of the reason I don't study chess seriously anymore is because it caused me to stay up late at night past midnight and it made me listen to heavy metal even though I don't really like that music (I'm not sure if these two are related).
generaly if I find out that It's late at around 22:00 then it's ok. but if I find out I should go to sleep at 1:00 then I generally play chess until 3:00, way past the time that I start confusing bishops and pawns to be alike... so late night chess isn't built into me I guess...
I'm an insomniac, so my sleeping hours are rather irregular. I generally go to bed between 11:30 and Midnight, but I may not fall asleep till 3:00, or even 4:00. (Not fun, I can tell you that.)

Go to bed at maybe 2 a.m. and have to wake up a few times per night since my 6-months baby is very communicative

I generally stay up pretty late (but it ain't playing chess).
same here.. i never really get any sleep.. i just can't wait till tomorrow.. its my last day of school till next year..

been there

Radio 4 man: The woman's role in having the baby is challenging, but men have a tough time too ... putting the cot together, for instance.
Radio 4 woman: If you want to experience childbirth from the woman's point of view, may I suggest a bowling ball and some grease.
Radio 4 man: How does sliding around on a slippery bowling alley help you relate to childbirth?

Hahahahahahahaha

exactly... i fainted during our first. i saw the reflection of blood in the light hovering over my wife... it was a lot to deal with.

I stay up until around 1 or 2 am most nights but generally not for chess. There are other games to play at that hour.
2 am give or take. Who needs sleep :)
