This is awesome.. I have it.. but considering your rating.. you may want to go for Chess ART by the same developer available on Android and Iphone.. Kindly check the developer Chess King on the app stores..

Is Chess ART harder or easier than Chess Tactics for Beginners?

street_figther2turbo

Both are good and I got ART for "free"  when I bought ctb which is based on the books by a  russian teacher.

1. CRT-Art 6.0 is much harder, however tactics for beginners is fantastic software to get started with.

2. not sure if your tablet is ios or android....i have an ipad so i can only advise on that.

Chess tactics for beginners 2.0 is available in the app store through chess king. I can confirm that it uses the exact same exercises as i have both the ipad version and pc version.

CT ART has a significantly harder upper range of problems than CT for Beginners.

CT for Beginners is the software version of Manual of Chess Combinations 1a and 1b by Sergey Ivashchenko.  They are excellent chess puzzle books.  It has a wide range of difficulty, but the upper end is "only" ~1600-1800.

I have CTFB and find it challenge enough for now. It's an excellent and fairly cheap Android app. Works fine on my phone so should be great on a tablet.
