seems like blitz ratings here are the closest to otb ratings...comparing what people in the forums say about their otb ratings and looking at their blitz here it is usually quite close...usually...i might be wrong gor the majority though

Ive noticed the general tendency for only a particular breed of chess.com player - the NM -GM crowd- to be weilding a 2500+ rating in rapid and blitz. Does that mean that if you achieve a 2500 odd rating here, you are of master strength?

in 3/2 min pool playing strength is indeed close to OTB rating.
For example 2100 online blitz will be close ot his OTB rating. BUT.. that does NOT mean if you play him OTB you wil win as if you did won in online blitz.
Playing OTB is soo much different even if you transform all of your online Skills , you will perform WORSE than online, if you are not established OTB player.
