i have fritz 12, should i buy chessbase light premium version or not?

cuz there's loads of games in fritz 12 already, i just wonder if i bought chessbase light, will many of the games be the same and i waste my money.

Also, is chessbase light good for learning game? or is it just a database literally?

one more thing

what's the difference of deep fritz and fritz?

does it just run faster by using more of ur CPU or are there any other features?

Fritz 12 has most of the features that a beginner might need.  Chessbase Light Premium is good if you want to search for certain types of games, or build up database archives on different themes for research, but Fritz should be fine for starters.  Chessbase Light Premium doesn't really teach you things, but you can use it as a tool, if you like to analyze, and do research on openings, for instance.

Deep Fritz is for computers that have more than one cpu (e.g. dual core or quad).  If your computer has only one CPU, Fritz is fine.

my compututer is core quad, so will it run faster if i get deep fritz?

cuz in gameplay, fritz is already pretty fast,

at what feature will depp fritz be particularly faster?

rigamagician

Deep Fritz 12 should be stronger than plain Fritz 12.  It should be able to calculate faster when analyzing a position, even if it plays the moves at the same pace.
