I dont use neither
Chessbase: 'tactical analysis' or 'Let's check analysis'
I would say it depends on your use case. I tend to use the “tactical analysis” with “fine” annotations and set 60 seconds as the time on my old quad-core laptop. This way I usually reach a depth of ~30. I think for my current rating range it is quite sufficient to find my opening mistakes, missed maneuvering patterns, and tactical oversights.

As far as I can tell, Let's check analysis is basically identical to tactical analysis only you get the help of crowd sourced computing so it's quicker? So as long as you don't mind your evaluations being shared in the cloud (which I get top GMs wouldn't like as it would show their lines) I can't see any reason not to always choose Let's check analysis over tactical analysis?
Hi
Do people tend to use 'tactical analysis' or 'Let's check analysis' when analysing their games in chessbase? If 'tactical analysis' what is a reasonable number of seconds if you want a thorough analysis of your game?
Thanks
